Your Xbox One controller does not hold batteries or does not work at all after replacing them? This is a very common problem caused by corrosion or damage to the metal battery springs. Nothing lost! You can easily replace them with new, working ones.
Damage to the battery springs (contacts) in the controller most often results from battery leakage. Symptoms of the fault include no response from the controller after inserting batteries, intermittent operation of the pad, or visible corrosion (green or white deposit) on the metal contacts in the battery compartment.
